“For as he thinks within himself, so he is.” (Proverbs 23:7) “Self-esteem is a term used in psychology to reflect a person’s overall evaluation or appraisal of his or her own worth” (Wikipedia).
What you think about yourself will affect what you believe, your mindset, and how you will live your life. Parents can help or hinder you from having the proper basis of self esteem by how they raised you, but God has ultimately given you the responsibility to choose.
Those who have low self esteem will likely be critical of themselves and think they are useless to do anything right. On the other hand, those who think too highly of themselves will likely be arrogant, boastful, and conceited. The Bible warns against both extremes.

Man’s thoughts about hell: “It’s made up by Christians who want to scare people into being religious.” “It’s what you have to go through here on earth.” “Only murderers or really evil people go there.” “A loving God would never send anyone there.” “Hell is annihilation – you just cease to exist.”
But those who believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant word of God know that hell is a real place (2 Tim. 3:16-17).

What kind of decisions are you making in your life? The decisions you have made in the past affect who you are today along with influencing your family & friends for good or bad. We can’t change what we have done but we can learn from the failures of men and women in the Bible and apply it to our lives (Romans 15:4). Even the godliest men and women made bad choices and God doesn’t cover it up but has left it for our admonition (2 Tim. 3:16-17). Let us examine and learn from some life changing decisions realizing we will all have to give account unto God (2 Cor. 13:5; 5:10).

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life…” (John 14:6) “Sanctify them through Thy truth, Thy word is truth” (John 17:17) Jesus said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32)
Since Christ is head over the church, the message of the church is the truth!
But what is truth? (John 18:36) Is it objective or subjective?
