On January 12, 2010 the island nation of Haiti was devastated by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake. When Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom, some wanted to hear, some did not believe (Matt. 13:58) or repent (Matt. 11:20), and others wanted to destroy Him. (Matt. 12:14) Jesus began to teach in parables to weed out those who had hardened hearts from those who had enough interest to ask questions. (Matt. 13:10-17)

Some deny the reality of death. Some fear death so they avoid all mention of it. Some don’t care- let’s eat drink and be merry. Others curse God who would allow it. Others in despair commit suicide. What is your attitude toward death?
Are you prepared for it? A lot will depend on your attitude towards God & the application of God’s word in your life.
