Do Honesty and Sincerity = Truth?

Sunday, March 28th, 2010

Many in the religious world teach, “You will be saved as long as you are honest and sincere (have the right attitude) in religious matters.”

Some believe the Holy Spirit personally and literally dwells in them. Others teach that this is impossible. Some teach that the Holy Spirit is just an influence or a mere manifestation of God – that He is not real. Others teach that He is a distinct member of the Godhead.

Sadly, some Christians are not equipped to defend the truth about this subject. Compared to the Holy Spirit, we know quite a bit about the Father and Jesus Christ, but the Holy Spirit… Continue reading

The Work of the Holy Spirit

Sunday, March 14th, 2010

Isn’t it true that the Holy Spirit works in a mysterious way that we can never understand?

Doesn’t the Holy Spirit work today through miracles, wonders, and signs just like He did in the 1st century?

If not, how does the Holy Spirit work today?

I Died Last Night

There’s a story of a business man going to his financial adviser. At meetings he would say, “I died last night. Tell me what happened to my family, my business, & estate.”

At death, a person’s spiritual condition will be much more important than his finances. (Luke 12:15-21)

None of us truly think that we will die unexpectedly.

The choices and decisions you make today will help determine where you will spend eternity. (2 Corinthians 5:10)

The answers to the following questions will determine your destination.

If you died last night, where would you spend eternity?

God’s Health Care Plan

Sunday, March 14th, 2010

Indeed, God does have a “health care plan.” If we were interested in His plan more than in one politically motivated, we would be in a far better condition. In speaking of health care plans, we shall examine some things specifically involved in God’s health care plan. Continue reading
